HC directs for details on 1000 Cr JBJ loot case

CHENNAI: The Madras high court seeks details on Rs 1000 Cr JBJ land sale looting case on Thursday, Justice Mrs. Mala directed EOW and Public Prosecutor to submit the detail development of the case on 23rd February 2012 of Justin Devadoss (alais) David the then proprietor of JBJ City Developers, his wife, staff and his men enlisted the support of large number of Christian families to purchase plots of land in their New Jerusalem Eden City, a scheme situated at Perungavoor village Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District. Justin Devadoss and his team looted about 4000 families and cheated about Rs. 1000 crores. The Counsel for the Investors Mr.Leon Raymond told, “The court intervention in this case has given hope and sense of relief for the investors”. The several agitations by public made the Economic Offence Wing to take action against the accused to put them behind the bars under Gunddas act.
