Bollywood superstar Aamir in Kashmir to shoot for incredible India


SRINAGAR: Bollywood
superstar Aamir Khan on
Thursday arrived in Kashmir
after more than a decade
to shoot for ‘Incredible
India’ in different locations.
‘’I have come here to
promote ‘ Incredible India’
brand and shoot some shots
for the special video,’’ he
told a group of journalists
during his visit to famous
fl oating vegetable garden in
the world famous Dal Lake.
He said the last time he
visited here was in 1998 for
shooting of fi lm ‘Mann’. Mr
Khan said he enjoyed shooting
in the house at a village
in the central Kashmir district
of Ganderbal, which is
still covered by snow ‘’My
fi lmmaker uncle Nasir Husain
used to shoot his fi lms
in Kashmir,’’ he added.
‘’I and other people in the
Bollywood are highly impressed
with the breathtaking
beauty of the valley,’’ he
said and expressed hope that
good old time will return
and fi lmmakers would again
turn to Kashmir to shoot
their fi lms. He said already a
number of fi lms were fi lmed
during the past few years.
Aamir said the people are
nice and hospitable in Kashmir,
which is truly heaven
on earth. About his fi lm ‘3
Idiots’, he said some parts of
the fi lm were fi lmed in Leh
in Ladakh region, where
they went directly to shoot.
