Lufthansa fl ight cancelled due to technical snag

CHENNAI: A Frankfurtbound Lufthansa Airlines fl ight with a compliment of 285 passengers was cancelled minutes before its departure, following a technical snag. Airport sources said the snag in the fl ight was noticed when the boarding passes were issued to passengers. The fl ight was scheduled to take off at 0230 hrs this morning. The airlines later announced that the fl ight was cancelled and accommodated all the passengers in various hotels in the city. They said the fl ight would leave around midnight tonight after the snag was rectifi ed.
