India’s largest Foundry conclave

HYDERABAD: The 60th Indian Foundry Congress and Second Asia Foundry Forum will be organising a’ ‘Foundry Conclave’’ at Bangalore from March 2. The three-day event will provide a platform for networking with Asian giants and world leaders in metal casting production. ‘’The Forum will being together 12 leading Asian countries including China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Australia, who will share their best Practices for sustainability and growth, which forms the main theme for all the deliberations,’’ said Dr H Sundara Murthy, President, The Institute of Indian Foundry men (IIF) in a release here on Thursday. ‘’With the present market paradoxes of high growth coupled with sudden low demand, it is imperative that the Asian Foundry Industry deliberates and take a considered view on how to sustain the industry through the upheavals in the market and in the business environment along with the demographic challenges, said N Krishna Samaraj, Chairman, Asia Foundry Forum. The Indian Foundry Exhibition 2012 (IFEX 2012) will be organised on the side line of the conclave was a leading trade fair on foundry technology, equipment and supplies, the release said. The trade fair covered the entire spectrum of the requirements of a modern day foundry and will provide excellent platform for the Indian as well as overseas companies to showcase their state-of-the art technologies and services, the release added.
