FIR fi led against Yeddy,daughter, offi cers

SHIMOGO: An FIR was fi led in the Lokayukta Court here against Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa,his daughter Arunadevi and eight offi cers on cheating and corruption charges. The FIR fi led was fi led on preliminary investigation taken up by the Lokayukta Police as per direction to submit a report on a complaint fi led by Advocate Vinod.In the complaint, it was alleged Yeddyurappa, during his tenure as the Chief Minister, had allotted in March 2010 four sites originally meant for allocation to journalists in 2007. Yeddyurappa was made main accused and his daughter Arunadevi second accused. Eight offi cers, including the then Karnataka Housing Board Commissioner and Engineer were made parties to the case. Lokayukta Police have been asked to continue its investigation and submit a report within 14 days.
